Subject: Heterogeneity and SR
Date: Fri, 4 Dec 1992 10:35:28 PST
From: Chalmers@europarc.xerox.com
Hello -
I was looking through the SR book and (at first glance) came across no
discussion of heterogeneous networks, and whether having a variety of
machines (with different byte orders &c) was within the scope of SR.
Does SR do XDR-like marshalling of data when sending data between machines?
Thanks for any help,
--Matthew
